Members’ Events

In addition to the public events which we organise, we hold roughly quarterly members’ meetings or events so that our members can meet one another – and those who want to get more involved can do so. Meetings usually have a short presentation about some aspect of our work, but the main purpose is to have discussions about anything our members want to raise.

Meetings so far in 2023:

  • 2 February: meeting in the Guildhall with representatives from County, District and Town Councils
  • 24 May: AGM in the Abbey Buildings, with presentation on the “Picturing Abingdon” project, and wine and cheese evening

Next meeting:

Tuesday 21 November: meeting in Unit 24 to publicise the Unit and discuss future activities for the Society
